Let the engine cool down a little .Next step is to gently push down on the throttle plate about 1 1/4 inches if the accumulator is faulty then the throttle plate stops in the down position .its faulty and needs replacing. This might just help other members ..

1986 560SEL Cold Start Problem. I purchased an 86, 560SEL with approximately 89000 miles on it from a family friend who has owned the vehicle for a number of years.
